Carnival Band Leader

The Carnival Band Leader is part of the management structure of the carnival.  LA Carnival  provides access to special information, promotional support, meeting space when available, and the option of a promotional page on the Los Angeles Carnival website at a cost. Band Leaders don’t just participate — they shape the spectacle of their group and the overall carnival experience!

Corporate Group or Float

Corporate entries may include branded floats, walking teams, promotional vehicles, or interactive activations. This is a premium opportunity to align your brand with community, culture, and celebration while reaching thousands of attendees. Up to 100 individual participants.

Carnival is about freedom of expression. As an Individual Reveler, you’ll parade in your unique costume, compete independently, and add to the vibrant tapestry of LA Carnival on the Shaw™

Carnival Band Revelers

Register as an official LA Carnival participant, then purchase your costumes from your favorite band leader. Move to the rhythm of carnival and stand united with your party in friendly competition for the cash prizes and bragging rights. Together, we create the magic on the road.

Specialty Acts (Bicycle/Light Artistry/Equestrian/Drum Groups)

Gather your crew and create a rolling light parade with bikes and wearable art! Compete in a radiant display that transforms the carnival after dark. Showcase dynamic performance such as equestrian teams, cultural acts, stilt walkers, or other performance units. This category highlights artistry, and engagement while maintaining parade safety. 30 People Maximum.

Parade Vehicle - Community or Individual Promotions
$250.00

Enter your decorated vehicle as part of the parade procession. Whether themed, branded, or community-focused, vehicles must be visually enhanced to reflect the spirit and vibrancy of carnival while maintaining safety compliance.
